Like Sandpaper: What to Do If You Have Ingrown Hairs on Your Legs

Just a couple of steps and your skin will be transformed in a couple of weeks

WITH THE RIGHT TECHNIQUE, INFLAMMATION WILL NOT OCCUR

Ingrown hairs look like inflamed bumps on the skin, which can sometimes itch or hurt when you press on them. For their treatment, you do not need to see a doctor if you do not have a fever or accumulation of pus in these places. Woman Hit will show you how you can prevent ingrown hairs in just a couple of steps.

Take a warm bath

Start with a hot shower or warm bath to steam your skin. Enough 10-15 minutes for the pores to open and the base of the hair is exposed. Then take a body scrub or loofah-glove, in a circular motion, go over the skin from the ankles to the buttocks. On steamed skin, it is easier to remove dead particles, which will reduce the trauma of the shaving process and provide smooth skin after hair removal.

Buy shaving foam

Never shave your legs without a slip product. Either shaving foam, balm, or hair mask will work – they work just as well and take up less space. We recommend buying foam for men – it is usually cheaper than women’s foam due to simple fragrances. Apply a tennis ball-sized lump of foam to the palm of your hand – enough for one leg. Do not try to substitute shower gel for foam – it is also soapy, but it gives loose foam that is not enough for a quick glide.

Apply moisturizer

Choose a body batter or moisturizing lotion with soothing ingredients such as panthenol, vitamins A and E, zinc, and more. You should not choose a product that contains alcohol or essential oils – they irritate the skin, which provokes inflammation and, accordingly, the formation of a red rash. Dermatologists advise applying the cream not only after the procedure but also to moisturize the skin regularly – at least once a day, preferably after a warm shower.

A REGULAR FACE TONER WITH ACIDS OR VITAMIN C POWDER ARE GOOD REMEDIES TO STIMULATE SKIN REGENERATION

Don’t forget about acids

Regular face toner with acids or vitamin C powder is a good remedy to stimulate skin regeneration. Pour a small amount of tonic into your palms, distribute between them, and apply to your feet. Rub into the skin and cover with a layer of moisturizer on top. For powder, you can add 1-2 scoops directly to the palm of the cream. It is recommended to apply acids a couple of hours or a day after epilation when the skin recovers from irritation.
